2Corinthians 5:19-20 (NIV), Ephesians 6:14-15 (NIV)
That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. *Stand firm then,… with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
Every evil prevailing in the world today resulted from the fall of man that caused him to become separated from God. But do you know what? According to Colossians 1:21-22, by Christ’s death on the cross, God has already reconciled all men back to Himself. Because Jesus sacrificed His life, God is already at peace with all men. There is no other price or sacrifice that anyone needs to pay or make to become at peace with God. Christ is our peace, Eph.2:14. All we have to do is believe and they will be saved. They will experience the forgiveness of their sins and their absolute reconciliation back to God. They will experience the fullness of God’s grace, power and blessings in their lives. Their lives will become new and transformed.
This is the wonderful gospel of peace that our second text above refers to. The gospel of peace is the gospel of Christ. It is the good news about man’s absolute restoration back into relationship with God because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross. This wonderful gospel of Christ is the power of God to save and deliver both from sin and the devil’s bondage and from every kind of situation that any man or woman finds themselves in, Rom.1:16. All that Christ has done to save and reconcile all men back to God will be wasted if we do not passionately run with this great message and tell men about it. We need to share in Christ’s burden to reach out and save the lost. That same passion that drove Christ to the cross must drive us to serve as a witness of the gospel to the lost, no matter what we may face. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please stir up in me a greater passion for going all out to passionately preach the gospel of Christ to others today.

The Spirit of God is showing us something we need
to live a victorious life in Christ consistently in the
scripture above. He noted that though there’s tribulation all
around us, we should be constant, that is, consistent, in
prayer.
Some think that prayer is all about telling God your
problems, hoping He’ll do something about them. That’s a
wrong perception on the subject of prayer. The purpose for
prayer is primarily fellowship or communion with the Father.

Seeing Others the Way Christ Sees Them
2Corinthians 5:14-16 (NIV)
For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. |

Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both (Job 9:33).
Our opening verse shows that there was a day and time that man needed a “daysman,” a mediator, and there wasn’t any. Job needed one and there was none.
It reminds also of the words of Eli to his sons, in berating them for their atrocious acts. He said, “When you sin against a man, any man can come and intercede for you. But when you sin against God, who’ll entreat for you?” (Read 1 Samuel 2:25).

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me (1 Corinthians 15:10).
We might as well consider the verse above one of the major secrets of the Apostle Paul’s great success in ministry. He was so mightily used of God because he had absolute reliance on the grace of God. All that he did and became as an apostle of Jesus Christ was the result of God’s grace upon his life, not his human or natural abilities. He understood that man’s natural abilities, and material accomplishments, don’t count with God.

Prevailing in Prayers
Luke 5:16, Luke 6:12, Ephesians 6:18 (NIV), 1Cor.14:18And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. *And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. *And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. *I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all.
Your understanding of the grace of God available to you in Christ has a way of causing you to want to draw closer to God. Prayer is a very good avenue for you to grow in intimacy and in your knowledge of God the Father. You need to maximize this access that you have to God’s throne of grace, just as Jesus maximized it throughout His time on the earth. That same grace by which Jesus prayed the way He prayed when He was on the earth is upon you, child of God. Prayer in itself is a major channel through which we receive God’s abundant grace into our lives. Hebrews 4:16 admonishes us to come boldly to God’s throne of grace to obtain mercy and to find grace to help us in our time of need. Child of God, be free and real in your prayers. You are talking to God, your loving Heavenly Father.
Pray in faith and pray in line with the word of God, 1John 5:14. Remember that we come to God in the name of Jesus and because of Jesus, we are guaranteed God’s audience and response to our prayers. The Holy Spirit is also always available to help us in our prayers, Rom.8:26-27. You must rely more on the strength and direction of the Holy Spirit as you pray. Pray under His influence and incessantly pray in tongues, ICor.14:14-15. Grace did not stop Apostle Paul from praying. On the contrary, it caused him to pray even more fervently than others. The grace of God has a way of changing prayer from being a burden into bringing joy and delight. As you trust God for more of His grace, you will keep growing and making progress in your prayer life. PRAYER FOCUS: Thank God for His abundant grace available for you to draw nearer to Him and to grow and prevail in prayer. Desire more of Him and by faith make your requests known unto Him.

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they (Hebrews 1:4).
There’s a remarkable difference between life and the operations of God in the Old Testament, in comparison with the New Testament. For example, in the Old Testament, the angels had authority over God’s people to the point they could pronounce judgement or punishment on them for doing something wrong. A simple example is when Zachariah didn’t believe the word of the angel Gabriel. The angel didn’t spare him; he said, “I’m Gabriel; I function in the presence of God; because you disbelieved my word, you shall be dumb until the child is born” (Read Luke 1:19-22), and it was so. Can you imagine that? He punished Zachariah for his unbelief.

Triumphing Over Challenges
2 Corinthians 12:8-9 (NIV), James 4:6-7 (NIV)
.Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. *But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Child of God, no matter what you may be going through, I want you to know that the grace of God is sufficient for you and that it will see you through. You will come out victoriously on the other side and you will praise God for His grace that saw you through. By the grace of God, both the strength and wisdom that you need will be abundantly provided to you. You will know what to do and will have the strength to do it. Keep looking unto Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is your Comforter and your Helper. With Him, you will feel as if Jesus is physically present with you because He actually is. By His grace, God has already made a portion of His wisdom concerning how you can triumph over your challenges available to you in His word. The Holy Spirit will guide you into that wisdom. Even as a righteous man or woman, you will face many afflictions, but God will deliver you from them all, Psa.34:19. Remain humble and remain full of faith. Keep your eyes on God’s love and keep your eyes on the joy that is set before you. That situation has already worked out together for your good. It has worked out an eternal weight of glory for you, 2Cor.4:17. Maintain a good conscience. Resist the temptation to slip back into guilt. Remain conscious of your righteousness in Christ. Pray in faith. James 5:13a says, is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. James 5:16b reminds us that the effective fervent prayer of the righteous man avails much. PRAYER FOCUS: I thank You, Heavenly Father, for Your abundant wisdom and grace that is available for me to triumph over my challenges today.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him (Psalm 126:6).
Oftentimes, we come across people who put so much effort and resources into working for the Lord, but after a while they begin to wonder, “What would be my reward or gain for all these efforts?”
Now, the Word of God is clear: God is always the last giver. No one can ever out-give Him. Therefore, be encouraged and don’t despair, for the Bible says, “…God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10).
