THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT

THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT 😇
The current recession or economy crisis you see in the nation of Nigeria is not an accident. Whenever you see an attack on the economy of a nation like what you see in Nigeria today, those things are not natural. Many have asked, 'Why is this ugly situation showing up in our nation now?' The truth is that the blood of the Innocents is crying out to God the same way the blood of Abel cried out to God against his brother.
When you look through the social media platforms, men whose lives are regulated by their senses have blamed and are still blaming the past government for their failure and inability to control the situation. These things are not new or physical, they have spiritual implications. Even in the Bible days, there were situations like what we are seeing today in Nigeria.
In the days of King David, this same ugly situation happened for like three years but thank God David didn't look out for who to blame. David was smart enough to seek solutions from the Lord. When you read the book of Samuel, the Spirit of God shows us the following, “Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, It is for SAUL, and for his BLOODY HOUSE because he slew the Gibeonites. And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: AND SAUL SOUGHT TO SLAY THEM IN HIS ZEAL TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL AND JUDAH.)” ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭21:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Saul, you know was a man who wanted the praises of men rather than God. The Bible shows that at a point, Saul was no longer just and fair in his decisions. Saul loved the blame game instead of taking responsibility for his wrong actions. In the case of Nigeria, many who might be reading this article might be asking, who is this SAUL suppose to represent? Let's leave that for another day discussion.
It is important that we understand that God values every human life. It was for this same reason that Jesus came to die for them. The bible says, 'The life of the flesh is in the blood.' Many might not understand but the truth of the matter is that God values human lives. Thereafter, He does not play fair with a people or group of people who spill human blood. The blood of the Innocent was against the nations of Israel until David the king took action. The action he took back then was to dialogue with the group that was oppressed and killed by the nation of Israel. The same goes for the nation of Nigeria, the recession in the land is not an accident. It is because of the blood of the Innocents that is crying out Day and Night against the nation. As a Christian, what is our part or role in this situation? Watch out for more on my next post on the blood of the innocent 😇
Until I come your way again.., If you love Nigeria, pray for her because her hands are stained...
