Celebrate your Redemption in Christ

Titus 3:4-7 (NLT)
When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit
eternal life.

As we worship and thank God for the many things He has done for us in this season, it is very important that we meditate on how privileged we are to be saved and redeemed by God. It was not because we deserved it in any way that God chose to send our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to be born, to live, to suffer and to die for us. We need to also worship, thank and praise God for raising Jesus up for us because without His resurrection, our redemption would have been incomplete. Thank God that all your sins are forgiven, Eph.1:7. Rejoice and thank Him that because of what Jesus has done, you are accepted in the beloved (Eph.1:6) and you are a bonafide child of God, 1John 3:1a.

Thank Him that you have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness, Col.1:13. Thank God for giving you His Spirit and for causing that same power that raised Christ from the dead to become operational in your life. Thank Him for raising you up together with Christ and sitting you together with Christ in Heavenly places far above principalities and powers. Thank God for making you complete in Christ, Col.2:10. Thank Him for making you holy and for making you a partaker of His divine nature. Thank Him for the hope you have both in this life and in the life to come. Thank Him for His grace and for His high calling upon your life. Thank Him, not just for saving you, but also for keeping you saved by His grace.

THANKSGIVING PRAYER: worship and thank you, Lover of My Soul, for the wonderful things you have done for me this year. I thank you for my redemption in Christ and for all the blessings that accompany it..
