*You Will Grow in Your Consciousness of God's Love for You*
_Ephesians 3:16-19 (NLT)_
_I pray that . . . he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God._

Our consciousness of God's love is so powerful and important that the Bible speaks severally about it. In the same way Apostle Paul prayed about it in our text above, Jesus also prayed about it. In John 17:21-23, Jesus prayed for us that we would be so united with Him and God the Father and so united with ourselves that the world would know that God the Father loves us as much as God the Father loves Him. However, before we can be as united as God desires and before the world can know that God the Father loves us as much as He loves Jesus, we must first know it for ourselves. This year, not only will it be abundantly clear that God loves you, it will be abundantly clear that God loves you just as much as He loves Jesus. This truth will be reflected in your life because you will be assured of it deep down in your heart.
His consciousness of the love of the Father made Jesus always confide that even though all His disciples deserted Him, the Father would always be with Him (John 16:32.) Jesus was also always confident that the Father would always hear Him when He prayed, John 11:41-42. This same confidence will fill your life this year. The early apostles were victorious because they knew and believed in how much God loved them; 1 John 4:16a. As you grow in your consciousness of God's love, you will operate in higher dimensions of the life and power of God. His love for you is so high that it can take you to any height. It is so deep that it can bring you out of any depth that you may fall. God's love for you is so long that He can go any length to manifest His power and glory in your life and it is so broad that you will never be-able to fully understand all of it. As you keep your focus on Christ and His death, burial and resurrection, you will grow in your consciousness of God's love for you.
Prayer Focus:
Worship the Father for His great love for you and tell Him how much you want to grow in your consciousness of that love.
