*Faith Thinks and Speaks like God*

_Hebrews 13:5-6 (NKJV), Genesis 1:2-3_

_Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" *And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light._

A major way that we express the life of God that is in us is by thinking and speaking like God. Our minds are renewed as we think in line with God's Word and the power in His Word is released into our lives as we speak it. One proof that the Word of God has changed your perspective and consciousness is when you can give thanks and boldly declare what His Word says about you. When God saw that the earth was without form and void, He did not panic. He created what He wanted to see by speaking to the situation.

Speaking rightly starts with the way you think in your heart. In Luke 6:45 (GNB), Jesus said, “A good person brings good out of the treasure of good things in his heart; a bad person brings load out of his treasure of bad things. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of ”. You cannot fill your heart with junk and expect to think and speak like God. James 3:5-6 shows us that our tongue may be a little part of our body but it has great effect on our life. Our tongues can influence our entire nature and course of our lives. With your tongue, you can defile and destroy your life and with your tongue you can build and bless your life. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit”, Prov. 18:21. See what God told Moses to tell the Israelites in Numbers 14:28: “. .. 'As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very things I heard you say”. What are you thinking and what are you saying child of God? The grace to think and talk just like Jesus is upon you today.

Faith Declaration:
As Jesus is, so am I in this world. Therefore, I think and talk just like Jesus. I release God's power into my life now.
