*It's All About Jesus*
Hebrews 12:2 (AMP)
Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also it's Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross,despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Our journey of faith on this earth is all about Jesus. He gave His all for us. We need to fix all of our focus and attention onHim. So many things will keep coming to discourage and distract us from doing this but we must not permit them to.Without Him, we can do nothing. He is the vine; we are the branches, John 15:5. Just like Peter experienced as he walked on water, when our focus is on Jesus, we are empowered to do the impossible and live supernatural lives.In Philippians 3:10 (GNB), Apostle Paul said, “All I want is to know Christand to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings and become like him in his death”.
Our journey of faith is all about knowing Him, believing Him,fellowshipping with Him and becoming more and more like Him,preaching the Gospel of His suffering, death, burial and resurrection for all men, manifesting His life, love, glory and power, pleasing Him, giving Him glory and looking forward to His return. 1John 3:2 says, “…when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is”.Colossians 3:4 (GNB) says, “Your real life is Christ and when he appears,then you too will appear with him and share his glory”! This glorious hopemotivates and spurs us to live pure and holy lives. There is a popular and powerful hymn that says: “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus'blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. On Christ the solid rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand”.
Prayer:
My eyes are on you Lord Jesus. I receive your grace to know you, to trust you, to be more like you and to do your will always.
