Happy Easter to everyone of you around the world! We want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone of you for all the amazing things you do in taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We truly appreciate every one of you who keeps spreading the messages which we share with you to other men and women on your wall.
I know some of you might have noted that for some days now, the daily Affirmations and Rhapsody has not been on the group. The reason is because #facebook kept pushing or blocking the messages when I put them in. I laid complain but they've not responded to me yet.
The initial message I got before writing them was that our messages are a spam because I use a picture, add a link... (the link for people to download a free copy of Rhapsody and some other material from church). These and some other reasons are their stands of not allowing the post to stay in the group.
However, every opposition is always an opportunity for someone to give birth to an idea. Personally, I've thought about it, and for me, with all the apps developers that we have in the group, I think it's time we start thinking of building and using our own applications because the days ahead with some of these platforms might not be Gospel-friendly. They will always start out little by little and before you know they will add something big. Let's start preparing for the future because a day will come when putting "Amen" or using the Name of Jesus on some social media platforms might also become an offensive word to them the same way "America" woke up one day to say using "MERRY CHRISTMAS" was an offensive word.
Like Pastor will always say, "Start thinking of ownership." If you own it, you'll be able to do the right stuff with it but as long as they are the one in charge, they will continue to regulate or control the extent of your liberty. As a group, with all the talent and amazing experts, let's start thinking... and also act smart. God bless you all.
