Hebrews 4:14-16 (NLT)
So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Your current trial is one that Jesus Himself has experienced as well. According to our text above, Jesus knows exactly how it feels to desire a job, a child, a spouse, money, to be tempted to sin, to be discouraged and to feel weak, powerless, mistreated, misunderstood or betrayed. You have to believe it and personalize it because it is true. Jesus did not only go through what you are going through; He also successfully overcame it.
As you look to Jesus right now, believing that He understands what you are going through and that He successfully overcame it, He will release upon you the exact same grace that He employed to overcome and you will overcome also. Jesus did not just come down to our level and situation alone; He came to provide the strength and grace for us to overcome and forge into the blessings and provisions that He has made available for us.
God desires that you run into His arms of strength and love. He perfectly understands you and your situation and He consistently invites you to come boldly into His presence to receive His abundant power, mercy and grace to prevail. He desires to enable you to victoriously overcome that very situation. God's special and abundant power, mercy and grace are available for you right now. Receive the strength and touch of Jesus, your perfect High Priest.
