Receiving Hope From the Revelation of Christ
Romans 5:5-6 & 10 (NIV)
And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. *… if, while we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

------------------------------------------------------
The major source of our hope as believers is the love of God. Nothing reveals God's love to us as much as focusing on Jesus and all that He has done for us. Jesus came down to this earth and did all that He did for your sake. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “for ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” He did all so that you and I will be strong and have hope in God. We must deliberately think about Christ and focus on His love, His sufferings for us, His victory over sin, sickness, the devil and all evil, as well as the many wonderful things He has made available for us.
God is not condemning you. In Christ, He is loving, touching and transforming you. Receive His abundant grace, mercy and love for you right now. You are no longer a stranger to God. You are now a bona fide member of His family. Ephesians 2:12-13 says: “remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ”. You now have full rights and access to God's glory and blessings. You deserve God's best. Because God is for you, no one and nothing can be against you. As God did not hold back Christ from you, together with Christ He has freely given you that desire, Rom. 8:31-32. Be strong and hope in God. You will experience His goodness.
FAITH DECLARATION: As I keep my eyes on Christ and the wonderful things He has done for me, my heart is filled with hope right now.
