You are Called, Justified and Glorified
Romans 8:29-30 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
In the Good News Bible, our text above says those whom God had already chosen he also set apart to become like his Son, so that the Son would be the first among many believers. And so those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them. God has destined your life to become like Christ in every way. Because of this God will also make available every grace you need to grow into the fullness of Christ and experience the glory and the fullness of Christ in every area of your life. You must believe this with all your heart and make it your desire too.
In line with this, God has a special call upon your life, God has also justified you and God has also bestowed His glory upon you all by His grace. These are three gifts of God's grace that we should continue to be grateful to God for. God's call upon your life should give you a sense of purpose and responsibility. The justification you have in Christ should make you live above guilt and condemnation and it should give you great peace, assurance and confidence to draw near to God. And your consciousness of God's glory upon your life should make you act like Christ and expect the same results that Christ will expect in everything you do.
As you continue to thank God for His call, justification and glory that is upon your life you will continue to experience the grace and blessings that are contained in each of these things.
PRAYER FOCUS: Thank God for His call over your life. Thank Him for justifying and glorifying you in Christ. Declare in faith that your life will be like Christ's Life in every way.
