What Do You Know and Believe?
Romans 8:28, Philippians 1:19 (CEV), 1John 3:2 (GNB)
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.*...because I know that your prayers and the help that comes from the Spirit of Christ Jesus will keep me safe. *My dear friends, we are now God's children, but it is not yet clear what we shall become. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he really is.

The real and deep convictions of your heart are affecting your faith, your confessions, your behaviour and your attitudes. James 2:14-26 reveals that when one really believes something, it will affect the way one lives. For example, your knowing God who is love will cause you to walk in love towards others. Believers who are strong in times of trials and are able to move forward and do great exploits are able to do so because of the deep convictions that they maintain (Dan.11:32, 2Tim.1:12). Your deep convictions will cause you to remain joyful and thankful for what you know is your reality in God and will soon be your experience in the physical. In the midst of all that Job was going through, he boldly declared: “for I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth”, Job 19:25. God actually redeemed him from what he was going through.
In Isaiah 5:13 (NLT) God said, “so my people will go into exile far away because they do not know me. Those who are great and honored will starve, and the common people will die of thirst.” It appears that for a very long time now, the lack of knowing God has caused God's people to live far below how God intends for us to live. This is not God's will for our lives. So many believers are tolerating things that God doesn't want them to experience and are not reaching forth for things that God has provided for them all because of their lack of knowledge of The nature of God. As you sincerely seek to know God better, you will walk in greater strength and victory in every area of your life.
PRAYER FOCUS: Receive God's grace to know Him more. Declare to yourself the positive things you know and believe about your life and situations.
