Kingdom Dominion Through Our Submission to God
Matthew 6:10 (GNB), Luke 8:17, Matthew 18:4
May your Kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. *Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. *Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. *"Father," he said, "if you will, take this cup of suffering away from me. Not my will, however, but your will be done."

For God's utmost desire to come to pass, which is for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth just as it is in Heaven, that kingdom must first come in us and His will and ways must first reign in our lives. We bring about God's rule and reign all around us by ensuring that only His will is being done wherever we are. But, in order to do so, we must first know God's will and His ways and be fully submitted to Him. God's Kingdom first has to dominate us before it can dominate our environment through us. Jesus Himself was totally submitted to the will and ways of God the Father throughout His time on this earth. He only did what He saw the Father doing, John 5:19.
Two major keys to submiting to God's will and ways are repentance (Matt.4:17) and renewal of our minds, Rom.12:2. We must see the danger, emptiness and inferiority of our human and evil ways(Prov.16:25) and see the superiority and great life, peace and eternal blessings in God's will and His righteous ways, Prov.10:29. We must see how much God loves us, how good God is and how His will and ways are actually the best for us. God does not want to force Himself and His ways upon us. He wants us to humbly receive Him and willingly accept His ways like little children. Don't despise or take for granted how good and patient God is; instead, let His goodness lead you to repentance, Rom.2:4. Let His forgiveness bring you to a place of reverence (fear) for Him, Psa.130:4. Let His lovingkindness draw you to Him, Jer.31:3. Let His mercies cause you to yield yourself to Him, Rom.12:1.
PRAYER: I surrender myself to Your will and Your ways, dear Father. Teach me Your ways and use me to manifest Your will to my world.
