Kingdom Dominion through Prayers

Luke 11:2, 1Timothy 2:1-3
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. *I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.

Prayer is a major tool that God has given us to ensure that His kingdom comes and that His will is being done on earth as it is in Heaven. God has put us in charge here, Psa.115:16. We are one with Christ (1Cor.6:17, 1John 4:17) and we are Christ's representatives here, 2Cor.5:17. The government is upon our shoulders and we are God's government on the earth, Isa.9:6-7, Rev.5:10. We have authority over every power of the enemy, Luke 10:19. The gates of hell will not prevail against us; instead, we shall prevail against them. We have the power to bind the devil and take back all the devil has tried to steal from us, Mark 3:27. We need the will of God to prevail in our families, our schools, business, entertainment, government, sports, culture and even our churches.

How do you think that field, sphere of influence or area of society operates in Heaven? Pray the will of God into those fields, spheres and areas of society. Pray for God's principles and ways to prevail. We must pray for those in authority; from our homes, to our localities and communities, to our various fields, organizations and to our government and nation. The heart of kings are in God's hands and He can turn them in whatsoever direction He pleases, Prov.21:1. Arise and pray. Don't feel powerless or unconcerned. As people like Nehemiah (Neh.1:3-4), Esther (Esth.4:16) and Elisha (1Kings 18:41-45) prayed and God turned around negative situations in their lands through them, I see God mightily doing the same through us right now.

PRAYER FOCUS: Pray by the Spirit for God's intervention and prevalence of His power and will in various areas of our nation.
