Genesis 41:46-48
And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt. And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls. And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

Jesus said in John 16:13 that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and show us things to come. Do you realize that the Holy Spirit shows us things to come in order to expand our impact in our fields and spheres of influence to solve societal problems and national challenges? The dreams and visions that Joel 2:28 indicates that old and young men will have are not only limited to spiritual things. They also refer to natural things.
In Habakkuk 2:2&3, God said write the vision, make it plain so that he that reads it can run with it because it is for an appointed time and at the right time it will speak. Until we write down and run with the visions, inspirations, ideas and concepts that the Spirit of God is stirring up in our hearts, those visions will not manifest.
The Spirit of God did not only help Joseph interpret Pharaoh's dream and document a strategic plan for Egypt's economy, the Spirit also helped him efficiently carry out his strategic plan which resulted in the saving of many lives, Gen.50:20. You too can see into the future and create the same way that God does. God wants you to think beyond your personal sustenance and survival to global impact and transgenerational influence. He wants to use you to repair breaches and raise the foundations of many generations, Isa.58:12. Don't let those things that the Spirit of God is stirring up in your heart go to waste. Write them down and begin to act upon them.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I receive your grace to be more proactive with the visions, dreams and creative ideas that you stir up in my heart. I receive grace to see and craft the future.
