| Keep Your Spirit Charged |

Luke 8:23-24
But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Jesus' Spirit was always so charged that He could be asleep and right at the moment you woke Him up, He would immediately manifest the glory and power of God.
His Spirit was so charged that neither His sudden waking up from sleep, nor the fear of His disciples nor the raging storm around Him could limit Him. He dominated over every situation in every way and at every time. Because His Spirit was charged, He did everything that He did by the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave instructions to his disciples by the Spirit, Acts1:2. He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the power of the Spirit, Acts 10:38. He offered Himself to God by the Spirit (Heb.9:14) and He was raised from the dead by the Spirit, Rom.8:11.Every opportunity you have to fellowship with God is an opportunity to charge your spirit. Use it well and also remain sensitive and in fellowship with God throughout your day and night. Ephesians 6:18 implores us to pray always and in the Spirit. Don't wait for challenges and trials to come before you charge your spirit. Keep your spirit charged always and be conscious of the presence and strength of God's Spirit that is in you. You can always know the mind of God and declare it by the power of the Spirit, 1Cor.2:13. You can always be filled with joy, peace and hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, Rom.15:13. In Luke 12:11&12, Jesus reminded us that whenever we are facing a trial, we should be unafraid of what to say [because the Holy Spirit will teach you what to say]. From today, whether you face an expected or unexpected situation, rivers of living waters will abundantly flow out of your belly (inner man) to address the situation, John 7:38-39
PRAYER FOCUS: Pray in the Spirit right now and ask the Holy Spirit to recharge and empower you.
