You have the Spirit of Boldness

You have the Spirit of Boldness

SUNDAY
MAR. 19

Proverbs 28:1 (NKJV), 2Timothy 1:7 (AMP)
The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. *For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

What comes to mind when you think of a lion? Today, we will take a look at the traits of a lion to help us understand the level of boldness that God expects from us as His children. The lion is a very unique animal. Even a baby cub knows right from birth that it is unique. The lion always stands out. It is fearless, royal and prestigious. God does not want us to ever feel intimidated. Like the lion, God created us to reign. In fact, Revelation 5:10 says that God has made us kings and priests and that we will reign on the earth.

The lion is the boldest animal in the world. Proverbs 30:30 helps us understand that the lion never turns back to run away from any other animal. Instead, it places fear and panic in every other animal. Do you know that it is not really the speed of the lion that helps it catch its prey? The lion is actually not the fastest animal on earth. It is the panic it exerts on its prey that helps it catch its prey. Lions never look around in fear or anxiety when they are doing anything. They do everything with authority and dominion because they maintain the confidence that they will succeed in whatever they set their minds to do. Even when a lion is asleep, it does not care or bother about any other animal that may be passing by. From today, the spirit of boldness that God has placed on you will cause you to become as bold as a lion in every area of your life. You will never be afraid or intimidated at any point in your life. Instead, you will dominate. You will reign.

FAITH DECLARATION: God's Spirit of boldness is in me. I am as bold as a lion. Nothing scares or intimidates me. I reign and dominate in Christ.
