Luke 10:40-42 (GNB)
Martha was upset over all the work she had to do, so she came and said, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself ? Tell her to come and help me!" The Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha! You are worried and troubled over so many things, but just one is needed. Mary has chosen the right thing, and it will not be taken away from her."

God does not oppose the carrying out of our various duties and responsibilities. He is against us being deceived into allowing them to hinder our communion and fellowship with Him. What He does not want is for to burn out due to a lack of divine fueling and replenishing of our strength. One reason why many are frustrated in the things that they do is simply because they have refused to fellowship with Jesus to receive His strength and direction in the process.
Do not allow the prevalence of challenges to cause you to fret and undermine your time of fellowship with God. It is a trap of the devil to deceive you and drain you spiritually. Stay connected to God and you will remain plugged into His wisdom, glory and strength. This is the reason why the early apostles decided that the present challenges they they faced were not going to distract them from giving themselves to prayer and the Word of God, Acts 6:3-4. Daniel also did not allow even the hostile governmental policy to lead him to frustration and cause him to abandon his time of fellowship with God, Dan.6:10.
If Jesus was not too busy to spend quality time with God the Father, you too should not be too busy to spend quality time with God the Father. Make your fellowship with God a priority. As you continue to dwell in God's secret place, you will abide under His shadow, Psa.91:1. As you continue to wait upon the Lord, you will renew your strength and you will continue to mount up with wings like eagles, Isa.40:31. God's grace is sufficient for you.
PRAYER FOCUS: Receive God's grace right now to continue to build and strengthen your time of communion and fellowship with Him.
