Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. *For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? *As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

A baby cub does not have to learn how to be bold. It was born with the nature of boldness in it. All the baby cub needs to do is to digest its mother milk, cohabit with its fellow lions, eat what its fellow lions eat and mimic what its fellow lions do. As it begins to do so, its nature of boldness continues to develop and manifest. In the same way, as a child of God, you do not need anyone to teach you how to be bold. God's Spirit of boldness is in you because you are born of God. You are a bold new creature. All you need now is for the revelation of Christ to dwell richly in you so you can continue to grow. As you continue to spend time in God's presence and with other faith filled believers, the bold nature of God that is already in you will continue to develop and manifest.
Beloved, your intimidated and timid nature died with Christ on the Cross. The new you that is alive right now is as bold as Christ. In Galatians 2:20, Apostle Paul was confident in declaring that he died with Christ and as such, it is no longer him that is lives but Christ that is living in Him. He lived his life by the faith of Christ. Our spiritual growth is a major key to the development and manifestation of God's Spirit of boldness that resides in us.
Our third text above reveals that desire is a major key to our spiritual growth. Our desire for the revelation of Christ needs to increase. We must grow in receiving and practicing God's Word if we want to be mature in our faith, Heb.5:14. We must not remain on milk, we must eat solid food and move on to perfection, Heb.6:1-3.
PRAYER FOCUS: Thank God for His Spirit of boldness that is in you because you are born of Him. Tell God you desire more of the revelation of Christ to fill you and unleash His boldness in you.
