Praying Through the Psalms Day 193
Psalm 20:6
Now I know that the LORD rescues his anointed king.
He will answer him from his holy heaven
and rescue him by his great power.
Now I know that the LORD rescues his anointed king.
He will answer him from his holy heaven
and rescue him by his great power.
Truth of the Day
God will always be with those He has called.
God will always be with those He has called.
Personalizing This Truth
During those times in my life that I feel that God is far away, I must continually remind myself that God has called me into a relationship with Him and a purpose in life. No matter how the circumstances might appear, God has promise that He would never leave me alone. But more importantly, God promises that even in those darkest times, He WILL answer my prayers.
When I began to fully realize that the relationship I have with God is not because of anything I have done or even a choice that I have made, but it completely because God has called me, I then can begin to understand that I am truly never alone. I am never in danger of being out of His immediate reach. Even in those darkest times, His hand is on me and He will see me out of the darkness. That is a comforting and reassuring thought that I must always carry with me.
Prayer
Father God, what a comfort to know that even if my emotions say otherwise, I am never alone and that Your hand is always on me. I thank You for those times that You stood with me in the darkness long enough to show me the way out. You have always not only answered my prayers, but You have come to my rescue. For that, I am eternally grateful and I can live with confidence that You will always maintain a relationship with me and are committed to deepening my relationship with me and never abandoning it.
