| Radiating the Fragrance of Christ |

Psalm 89:15-17 (NIV), 2Corinthians 2:14 (NIV)
Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness. For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn. *But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.

Have you ever walked by someone and were tempted to find out the name of their fragrance, soap, cream or ointment? The primary reason you would do that was probably because you liked the fragrance. Sometimes, the fragrance on a person can be so strong that by just being around them or having contact with them, you also begin to emit that fragrance. You may even like the fragrance so much that you go out and get it for yourself. Fragrance can also be reflected in attitudes. You may similarly be tempted to ask a person about the reason for their joy, excitement or confidence simply because of the fragrance of their countenance and attitude. God wants the fragrance of Christ to be so strong on us that people are drawn to the glorious countenance that we exude.
God wants the countenance of Christ to spread everywhere through you and I. He does not want the negative countenance of others or of our circumstances to rub off on us. The fragrance of Christ will make you a conqueror and so victorious that people will inquire about your fragrance so that they can get to know Christ and have that fragrance also. Obtain the fragrance of Christ in God's presence. Soak yourself in His presence. Learn not to leave God's presence until you have come under the influence of the fragrance of Christ. Gaze on the great love and power of Christ. Receive fullness of joy, Psa.16:11. As you behold Christ, your joy will be so full that it will overflow into the lives of others.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I worship you and I gaze on the glory of Christ right now. May the glorious fragrance of Christ overwhelm me.
