Blessings are Attached
James 1:12-13, 1 Cor 10:13 (NKJV)
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.*No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able.
 Beloved, there is a blessing attached to every temptation you go through because our text assures us that blessed is the man that endures temptation. God knows the temptation that troubles you, and in Isaiah, He promised to give you double for your trouble. Every temptation you overcome brings you into a new phase of victory in your life.
Our text above says, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Child of God, there is a crown of life that awaits you at the end of every temptation, a crown of life here on earth and a crown of life in Heaven.
So every time the devil brings that temptation your way, just remember that there is a crown of life that awaits you when you overcome it, and because you are able to endure it, God refers to you as blessed. There is no temptation that God allows your way that He has not given you the power to overcome.
The second Bible verse above confirms that there is no temptation that may come our way that we cannot bear because He is a faithful God and He will ensure that we are not overcome. As such, stand firm when temptation arises. Your salvation is sure!
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, I thank You because You hear me always. I ask that You give me the grace to continue to trust in You at all times.
