Spiritual Growth
1 Peter 2:2, Eph. 1:3 (NKJV)
As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby*Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every Spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
 In the same way we eat in order to grow in our physical bodies, we must also feed on the word of God to grow spiritually. The Apostle Paul reveals to us, in Acts 20: 32, the kind of word that produces spiritual growth in the believer: So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are
sanctified.
It is by feeding on the Word of His grace that we grow spiritually. The word of His grace refers to everything that God has done for us in Christ Jesus. It refers to everything we are in Christ Jesus and everything Christ is because of us. As we see in Acts 20:32, the word of His grace is able to build us up and bring us into His inheritance.
These are the declarations of His word by His grace. By the sacrifice of Jesus, you have eternal life, the blood of Jesus has washed and taken away all your sins, you are a new creation in Christ Jesus, sin has no power over you and you are acceptable and uncondemn-able in Christ. The power and the hold of Satan over you and your family have been forever destroyed. Where Christ is, that is where you shall be. Therefore, heaven is for you and your household. You are a success. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. Hallelujah!
The more you confess and feed your spirit with these words, the more you will become a spiritual edifice.
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, I thank You for the word of Christ which is able to build me up always. I pray that I will continue to grow spiritually in You in Jesus' name.
