FORGIVENESS, KNOWING GOD & OVERCOMING THE WICKED ONE
1 John 2:12-13(NKJV) I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name sake. I write to you,,Father, because you have know Him who is from the beginning. I write to you,young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.

The foundation of your new life in God is the knowledge of the great love He has shown you by forgiving all your sins through Christ.This is why you can receive His forgiveness that has already been provided for you in Christ.God has also changed your nature and made righteous by your faith in Christ and not by your works or efforts to obey the law.Your consciousness of God's love and His righteousness that you have is what affords you the ability to both grow spiritually and to live right.Feeling guilty, condemned and staying focused on the past will not draw you nearer to God, allow you to grow spiritually or cause you to live right.Jesus has given you His life and empowered you.

God is love and He wants us to know that He is not condemning us or accusing us in any way.On the contrary,He is always loving and reaching out to us to strengthen and uplift us in Him.You must recognize this about God if you will grow and mature in your faith in Him, because your sins are forgiven and because you are justified before God, you also have a right to the grace and blessings of God.. not because you deserve them by your works but because you deserve them by what Christ has done for you.The devil does not have anything to hold against you or to accuse you before God,Rom 8:33-34.Boldly recognize that Jesus is your advocate with God the Father and that He is the one who was sacrificed for your sins and the sins of the whole world,1 John 2:1-2.The truth paralyses the devil in your life.Rece
