*The Role of Trust in Seeking God*

_Jer. 29:13 (NIV), Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT), Jer. 10:23 (NKJV)_
_You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. *Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.*O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps._

Beloved, are you an unbelieving believer? The truth is that some believers do not really trust God's will for their lives. They are unsure of what God's will is. In fact, some believers do not believe that God can speak to them and reveal His will to them. They feel they are not holy or spiritual enough for God to speak and reveal things to them. Some believers are scared that if God eventually reveals His will to them, it will not be something they can do. Beloved, there is one thing you must be sure of about God's will for your life; it will be exceedingly and abundantly better than what you can ask or imagine, Eph.3:20. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. He alone sees, knows and holds tomorrow, Isa.55:8-9. God loves you and He wants the best for you. His plans for you are plans of good and not of evil, they are to bring you to an expected end, Jer.29:11. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, Heb.11:6.

Sincerely open up yourself to God as you seek Him concerning the desires of your heart and He will guide and lead you. He wants to give you His wisdom abundantly, James 1:5. He will guide you by His Word and He will guide you by His Spirit, 1Cor.2:9-12. He will put the right desires in your heart and He will guide you with His peace, Col.3:15. Do not be scared or worried about anything. Learn how to be still before God in faith, Psa. 46:10, 1Pet.3:4. God is at work in you, making you willing and able to do His good will, Phil.2:13. Just trust Him and release yourself to Him. You will not make a mistake. He will order your steps, Psa. 37:23. You will keep increasing in light and understanding. Your path will keep shinning brighter and brighter unto a perfect day, Prov.4:18.

PRAYER FOCUS:
Tell God that you trust Him and in His will for your life. Tell Him your desires right now and receive His direction.
