*The Way of Peace 2*
_Luke 1:78-79 (NLT), Genesis 41:16, John 6:5-6 (LB)_
_Because of God's tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace. *And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. *Turning to Philip he asked, "Philip, where can we buy bread to feed all these people?" (He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.)_

Two major things that will guarantee a lifestyle of peace are our knowledge of God's will in every situation we find ourselves in and our willingness to do God's will in every situation. One of the reasons Jesus always had peace was because He always knew what to do. You also have the ability to know all things (1John 2:20&27) and know the mind of God (1Cor.2:9-12) because you have the spirit of God in you. As you continually renew your mind with God's word (Rom.12:2) and yield to His Spirit, God will keep filling you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom (practical applications) and spiritual understanding, Col.1:9-11. You shall never be stranded again in your life; no matter the situation you are in.
Despite the fierce Syrian army surrounding the people of God, Elisha had peace while Gehazi was troubled because there were things Elisha knew and could see that Gehazi could not, 2Kings 6:15-17. Like Solomon, you shall be able to resolve difficult questions (1Kings 10:1&3), unravel great mysteries and make very sound judgments, 1Kings 3:19-28. Like Joseph said to Pharaoh in our text above, God will keep giving you answers of peace. You will know what to do to live in peace with all men, Heb.12:14. And like we studied yesterday, two additional meanings of the word used for peace in the Bible are wholeness and prosperity. By your continual knowledge of God's mind and will concerning you, you shall continue to prosper and be whole and complete, no matter what is happening to you or around you.
FAITH DECLARATION:
I always experience peace and prosperity because I know God's will in all situations and I walk in it.
I always experience peace and prosperity because I know God's will in all situations and I walk in it.
