*Don't Doubt God's Word*
_2 Kings 7:1-2 (NLT)_
_Elisha replied, "Listen to this message from the Lord! …: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, five quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and ten quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver." The officer assisting the king said to the man of God,
"That couldn't happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!" But Elisha replied, "You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won't be able to eat any of it!"_
Don't ever make the mistake of placing God's word on the same level with the words of men. God is not like men that lie or change their minds, Num.23:19. God's word is full of life and power. By it, God created everything that exists and by it, He will manifest His power in your life. It will always be in your best interest to accept, believe and act in line with God's word concerning you. Like we see in our text above, not believing God's word doesn't stop it from being powerful and manifesting. Not believing only prevents whoever doubts from experiencing the blessings and power of God's word.
The Bible admonishes us to not despise prophecies, 1Thes.5:20. I know that prophecy has been abused and misused a lot by so many minsters, but that does not mean that everyone prophesying is deceiving and duping people. God still has true servants who are declaring truthful and Christ centered prophecies (Rev.19:10b) with sincere and pure motives. Prophecy is never intended to put fear in the hearts of people. The Bible says prophecy is for edification, exhortation and comfort, 1Cor.12:3. God's word always aims to bring about redemption and restoration; not fear and condemnation. You will not be deceived because you have the spirit and wisdom of God and you are rooted in the truth of Christ. In Christ, the promises of God are yea and amen, 1Cor.1:20. They are already your reality in the Spirit. Believe and declare them to yourself and align yourself with them. They will manifest in your experience.
PRAYER:
I believe Your word and promises to me, O Lord. They are already my reality in the Spirit and I receive their manifestations as well.
