*Thank God for Life!*

_1Timothy 2:1, 1Thessalonians 1:2-3, 1Timothy 1:12_
_I exhort therefore, that, first of all, … giving of thanks, be made for all men; *We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; *And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry._

God wants you and me to thank Him for life. We should thank Him for both our lives and the lives of others, our physical lives and our spiritual lives. Psalm 150:6 (NIV) says, let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. We are here today because God kept us. We are alive today only because of His grace. It is not because of how security conscious we were that we are alive today. It is because God was watching over us, Psa.127:1. His angels were camping all around us, Psa.34:7.

Thank God today for the life of everyone in the nation beginning with our leaders, and thank Him for your life and the lives of your loved ones. Thank God for life and health. Matthew 6:25 says, this is why I tell you: do not be worried about the food and drink you need in order to stay alive, or about clothes for your body. After all, isn't life worth more than food? And isn't the body worth more than clothes? Thank God for hope! Ecclesiastes 9:4 says, for to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. Let's also thank God for every soul that was saved and was added to the kingdom this year. Let's thank God for every member of the body of Christ. Thank God for preserving you in the faith and for helping you to grow spiritually this year. Thank God for the life of His word and His presence that blessed and sustained you throughout this year. Let's thank God for every minister of the gospel and for their families.
