I Am the Alpha and Omega

Revelation 3:7-8 (NIV) “… These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Revelation 21:5-6 (KJV) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. … It is don. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. …

Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. All power in heaven and on earth has been given unto him, Matt. 28:18. He can open any door for you and He can also shut any door for you. He can open or give you access to anything and He can also end any kind of issue in your life. By His death, Jesus ended the Old Covenant (Matt. 27:50-51) and He began the New Covenant, Heb. 12:24. He ended your old life and gave you a new life. He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up, Psa. 106:9. He sent His Angel to open the prison and release Peter, Acts 12:6-11. In our first text above, Jesus said ‘see’, I have placed before you an open door that no man can shut. He wants you to see that He has opened new doors in your life. Joshua 6:2 says, “And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour”. After saying this, God told Joshua what to do for the thick walls of Jericho to come down. God says to you, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me”, Jer. 32:27?

God will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, Isa. 43:19. He is the I Am that I Am, Exo. 3:14. He will open doors of nations to you, He will level mountains for you and He will give you hidden riches and favours, Isa. 45:1-3. God wants you to trust Him for new and unbelievable experiences. I see issues of blood and things that seem to have been draining life out of you ceasing completely, Mark 5:25-29. I see God opening your eyes (Psa. 119:18) and I see God opening doors of revelation and utterance (Col. 4:3) and doors of ministry unto you, 1 Cor. 16:9. As you acknowledge Him as the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, He will bring you into new and glorious experiences.

Prayer Focus:

Worship God and declare to Him that He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the end. Receive the new experiences He has for you.
