*Victory and Dominion by the Holy Spirit*

_Genesis 1:2-3, Acts 10:38, Judges 14:6 (CEV)_
_And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. *But the LORD's Spirit took control of Samson, and with his bare hands he tore the lion apart, as though it had been a young goat..._

God manifests His dominion and sovereign power by His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and the Son (Matt. 28:19b) and He carries the power and the presence of God. When He came upon Mary, the power of God overshadowed her and she experienced God's miraculous power. When the earth was without form and void, God did not complain and fret. He moved over the situation by His Spirit and then He spoke over the situation. Everything about Jesus' life was influenced by the Holy Spirit. His conception was by the Spirit (Luke 1:35), He was anointed by the Spirit to preach the gospel (Luke 4:18-19) and do exploits (Acts 10:38). He gave instructions to His disciples by the Spirit (Acts 1:2) He offered Himself to God by the Spirit (Heb. 9:14) and He was raised from the dead by the Spirit, Rom. 8:11.

The Holy Spirit is in charge of making God's word to become flesh or real in your life. Talking about the Holy Spirit, in John 14:16 (AMP) Jesus said, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, lntercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever”. The presence of the Holy Spirit in us is just as powerful as having Jesus Himself being by our side all the time. That is the experience we will have when we increase our consciousness of the Holy Spirit and His work in our lives. The Holy Spirit helps us manifest great dimensions of God's nature, Isa. 11:2, Isa. 32:15, 1 Cor. 12:7-10. In the Living Bible, Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindnes, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; and here there is conflict with Jewish laws”.

Prayer Focus: I thank you Heavenly Father for the presence of your Spirit in me. Help me to be more conscious of the Spirit.
