Hebrews 11:32-33, Obadiah 1:21
And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. *And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

One of the mandates that God has given us as His children is to establish His kingdom in every nation of the world. Every nation includes every geographically located nation as well as every sphere of life and society. Isaiah 2:2-3 reveals that in the last days, the mountain of God's Temple will be exalted above all other mountains and all nations will flow towards it. They will come requesting an opportunity to learn God's ways and walk in His paths. You and I are God's Temple that will exert God's influence over all nations. We are God's standard of truth and righteousness that God is raising to stand and to oppose every flood of lies, wickedness, falsehood and injustice that prevail in the nations of the world.
God told Jeremiah that he had set him over nations and over kingdoms to root out, pull down, destroy, cast down and then build and to plant. In other words, we are to uproot, tear down and destroy the devil's kingdom and ways of darkness from every nation and sphere of influence and replace it with God's kingdom and His ways of light. When the will of God is being manifested in a nation or sphere of influence, the kingdom of God is present in that nation. Remember that this warfare is not with flesh and blood but with the spiritual powers which negatively influence rulers and people of these nations and spheres of influence, Eph.6:12. It is by our love, our prayers, the wisdom of God, the preaching of the gospel and by standing boldly and shinning God's light that we will win this battle. In Christ, God has empowered us for this mission. We are His ambassadors (2Cor.5:20) and we are kings and priests, Rev.5:10.
PRAYER FOCUS: Receive God's grace to continue to meditate on the gospel of Christ and to continue to preach this gospel of grace unto others.
