*This is the Lord's Doing and it is marvelous in our eyes*
*Psalms 118:21-24, Psalms 103:1&5*
I praise you, LORD, because you heard me, because you have given me victory. The stone which the builders rejected as worthless turned out to be the most important of all.
This was done by the LORD, what a wonderful sight it is! This is the day of the LORD's victory, let us be happy, let us celebrate! *Bless the LORD O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Right now, I want us to praise, worship and thank God like never before because of the good and wonderful things that He did in our lives this year. In this year, we asked God; for things and He gave them to us. He is a good Father that gives good gifts to His children even much more than any earthly father can, Matt. 7:7-11. As members of His household, He lovingly blessed and made abundant provisions for us this year.
We experienced so many wonderful things that we cannot even explain how they came about. He gave us life, He gave us wisdom, He gave us counsel. He gave us comfort. He gave His favour. Some people remember the bad things that people do to them more than the good things that God does for them. No wonder their lives are not filled with joy and gladness like it is supposed to be. Some other people are sad because they focus on the things that God did not do for them instead of thanking Him first for the ones that He did for them. But today, we shall not be ungrateful to God for we are like the one out of the ten lepers that came back to thank the Lord.
There are so many things that we received this year that we did not ask for and we were not qualified for. God gave them to us because of His great love for us. He has been and He remains our source and we will thank Him for this. We will not share His glory and praise that is due unto Him with ourselves or with anybody.
*Thanksgiving Prayer:*
I thank You Dear Lord for your numerous goodness and blessings that you brought into my life this year.
