*Grace to Understand God's Power at Work in You*
*Ephesians 1:18-21 (NIV)*
I pray that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people and his incomparable great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominon, and every name .

Our text above says the power of God at work in us is incomparable. The power of God at work in us is beyond every other power and situation, Our text above says this power is the same as the mighty strength that God used to raise Christ from the dead and sit Him in the Heavenly realms; far above principalities and powers.
So what power is being talked about here? The Bible, says it was by the power of the Holy Spirit that God raised Jesus from the dead (Rom. 8:11).‘The power at work in us is the power of the Holy Spirit. In talking about the Holy Spirit, Jesus said the Holy Spirit will glorify Him by taking what belongs to Him and revealing it to us, John 16:14-15. The Holy Spirit manifests the glory of Christ in our lives by manifesting God's power in our lives.
The word used for power in our text above is 'dunamis' and it is the same as the word used for power in Acts 1:8. It is a miraculous and explosive power. It is a power that not only energizes us for work but also empowers us to overcome every obstacle in our way. By this mighty power of God in you, nothing shall be impossible for you. No situation is hopeless for you. Things that are impossible by physical power or might are possible for you because of the power of the Spirit at work in your life, Zech. 4:6. The more you are conscious of it the more it Will manifest in your life. The verse before our text above shows us that it is the knowledge of Christ that opens our eyes to this power.
*Prayer:*
I thank You Dear Lord for Your mighty power at work in me. I ask that you open my eyes more to this Your mighty power in me.
