God is Taking You Somewhere

God is Taking You Somewhere

TUESDAY
MAY. 9

Genesis 45:8 (NIV), Deut. 28:13 (NIV), Proverbs 22:29 (NIV)So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt. *The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. *Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.

If you knew the type of influence that God wants to give to you, you would not allow anything to stop you from being diligent in your relationship with God and in every endeavour that you are engaged in. Beloved, God is taking you somewhere. In describing the kind of influence that God had given Joseph over Pharaoh the king of Egypt, Joseph said God had made him a father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler over all of Egypt. So many lives, businesses, governments and nations are waiting for you to manifest the things that God has deposited inside you. They are waiting for you to father them. You are not wasting your time by following God and being faithful in what your hands have found to do.

Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and minds have not yet imagined the things that God has prepared for you because you love Him, 1Cor.2:9. As you continue to follow Him, Jesus is making you a fisher of men and He is making you a force to reckon with. He is making you a person of influence just like Himself and He is empowering you to do His works and even greater works. Child of God, God is lifting you up. He is setting you up as the light of the world and as a city on a hill that cannot be hidden, Matt.5:14. In Isaiah 60:3, God's Word declares that Gentiles (people who do not know God) will come to your light and kings (people with great influence) will come to the brightness of your rising.

PRAYER:
I thank you, Heavenly Father, for where you are taking me; to have influence and to do great exploits. I receive your grace to remain faithful and diligent, both to you and in all my endeavours.
