1John 4:19, Ephesians 3:17-19 (GNB)
We love him, because he first loved us. *And I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love. Yes, may you come to know his love---although it can never be fully known---and so be completely filled with the very nature of God.

Reflecting on the immense love of God that pursued you even when you were a sinner should cause you to feel loved and unwilling to step outside of the boundless love of the Father. It should stir up a desire to love and know God more than anyone and anything else as well as a desire to draw nearer to Him in order to experience more of His love. Although we can never fully understand God's love for us, the reality is that the more God's love is revealed to us, the more we will be filled with the nature and fullness of God. 1Peter 2:1-3 shows us that if we have really tasted the goodness of God, we should desire to know Him more and grow stronger in our relationship with Him. As such, we must also lay aside everything that serves to prevent us from increasing our knowledge of God and growing stronger in Him.
Romans 5:5 shows us that God pours out and spreads His love into our heart by the Holy Spirit. One major channel through which the Holy Spirit accomplishes this task us during our time of communion and fellowship with God. Decide to step deeper into God's love for you and desire to grow in your love for God. Decide to know God for yourself and to spend quality time in fellowship with Him. Decide to let go of everything that is hindering your relationship and fellowship with God. As you make these decisions today and take deliberate steps towards achieving them, the Holy Spirit will strengthen you and direct you.
PRAYER FOCUS: Tell God to reveal more of His love to you by the Holy Spirit and let Him know that you desire a deeper fellowship with Him.
