Your Blessing is Free From Sorrow
Proverbs 10:22 (NLT, NIV, AMP), Psalm 127:2 (NKJV)
The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. *The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. *The blessing of the Lord it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it]. *It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.

In the Good News Bible, our last text above declares, “it is useless to work so hard for a living, getting up early and going to bed late. For the LORD provides for those he loves, while they are asleep.” Child of God, to work hard and labour is good but it is the blessing of God that makes the difference in our lives. Hard work and labour without God's blessing and direction only end in frustration, while hard work and labour by God's blessing and direction give both rest and God's amazing abundance.
The word used for sorrow in our first text above also means painful toil; either of the mind or the body, something that is grievous. Another way to describe it is frustrating labour or struggle. The blessing that God has given you in Christ has the power to produce blessings in every area of your life and you will not have painful toil or frustrating struggle both in the process of manifesting the blessing and after the blessing has manifested and produced fruit or blessings in your life.
There are people of the world who try to succeed outside of God and they follow the crooked ways of the devil. Not only do they struggle; even after they 'achieve' their desire, they do not have peace. They may even end up worse off than they were before they achieved their desire. One reason why the blessing of God does not produce sorrow, both in the process and after it has manifested, is because God leads and directs us in the way we are to go about achieving our desires.
FAITH DECLARATION: By the blessing and direction of God, I walk in good and divine success. Frustration and sorrow have no place in my life.
