Empowered for Victory In All Your Battles 3

John 16:33 (NIV), 2 Corinthians 2:14 (AMP)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." *But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.

Because of all that Christ has done for you, you already have the victory. See what God's Word declares in Colossians 2:13-15 (NIV): “when you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Jesus already declared you a winner when He said 'it is finished.' On the cross, He completely annihilated and disarmed the devil for your sake. Jesus has already overcome the devil (Heb.2:14-15) and all principalities and powers for you. All you have to do is acknowledge the victory of the cross and enforce it in your own life. You are not trying to overcome the devil and his plans against you. Christ has already done that. All you have to do is stand firm on what Christ has already done for you. That is how you fight the good fight of faith. You are not fighting to win; you are fighting because you have already won because of what Christ did for you. The devil will attempt to use his lies and tricks to deceive you and test your knowledge of your victory in Christ. Don't fall for his lies. Stand for the truth that is in Christ. Use the sword of the Spirit (the Word of God) against the enemy, Eph.6:11&17. Your faith is your victory, 1John 5:4.

FAITH DECLARATION: By virtue of the victory Jesus has won for me over the devil, I am strong and victorious in every area of my life.
