Galatians 3:9 (NIV, GNB, Living Bible)
So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. *Abraham believed and was blessed; so all who believe are blessed as he was. *And so it is: all who trust in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received.
So many believers are aware of how much God blessed Abraham, but they are not yet awakened to the fact that they too are similarly blessed. Do you understand what the blessing of God is and how powerful it is? The very first thing God did after creating man was to bless man. By this blessing, man was empowered to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue and to have dominion. Adam was also supposed to transfer this blessing to all of mankind, but he lost this ability after yielding to the devil's deceit.
But God appeared to Abraham and promised to bless him, make him a blessing and bless all nations through him if Abraham would only believe and follow Him. Because of Abraham's faith in God, he received what Adam lost. By your faith in Christ, this same blessing has been conferred upon your life, Gal.3:13-14. By virtue of the blessing of God upon Abraham's life, he operated in divine and supernatural success. He functioned beyond human limitations and boundaries. That is why he could give birth to a child even after he and his wife, Sarah, had passed childbearing age. He was also empowered to successfully fight against four kings and their armies with just the men of his household, Gen.14. By virtue of the blessing of God that is upon your life, you too are empowered for divine and supernatural success.
PRAYER: I thank you, Father, for empowering me by Your blessing to experience divine and supernatural success in all areas of my life.
