The Blessing and Direction of the Lord

Isaiah 48:17 (NIV), Genesis 26:2, 12 -13 (NIV)
This is what the Lord says ..: "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. *The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, "Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. *Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.

The blessing of the Lord goes hand in hand with the Lord's direction. It does not only make you rich financially, it also causes you to experience the manifestation of God's blessings, grace, power and glory in every area of your life. Like our first text above says, God wants to teach you how you can experience the best in every area of your life. As noted in our second text above, Isaac had to work hard, but the difference was that he was doing it by God's leading and the blessing of God that rested upon his life. On his own, Peter toiled all night and caught nothing but when Jesus entered his boat and directed him, he still had to work but the outcome was an incredible manifestation of the blessing of God, Luke 5:5-6.

The lack of God's direction and the lack of consciousness of His Blessing are the reason for the struggle and frustration in the lives of many believers. Knowing that you are blessed will actually keep you in a state of mind that allows you to hear from God. As you hear from God, you will know what to believe, say and do to activate the manifestation of the blessings of God upon your life. The Lord is your Shepherd so you will not lack in any area. You will divinely succeed. This year, the Lord will bless and perfect all that concerns you, Psa.138:8. There is an unction upon your life and this anointing will teach you all things, 1John 2:20&27. This year, you will become and remain conscious of God's blessing upon your life and you will enjoy God's direction in every area of your life like never before.

ACTION POINT: Declare that by God's blessing and direction upon your life, you are strong and prospering in every area of your life.
