Stir Up the Spirit in You
Ephesians 6:10-11, Ephesians 3:16 (KJV, NLT), Jude 1:20 (AMP)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. *That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.*I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. *But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, one major thing that enables you to control and align your thoughts with God's will is the amount of God's strength and might that you have in your inner man. One major way to build and stir up God's strength and might in your inner man is by praying in the Spirit. In Ephesians 6:18 (NLT), Apostle Paul admonished the Ephesian believers to pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Praying in the Spirit was also one of his major secrets, 1Cor.14:14, 15 & 17. As you build up and charge your spirit, you will be able to receive God's light and divine signals in your inner man. Jesus said that it is out of your belly (inner man) that rivers of living waters will flow. He was referring to the abilities and virtues of the Holy Spirit flowing out from the inside of you, John 7:38-39.
As you keep your spirit charged, you will continue to experience the flow of the abilities and virtues of the Holy Spirit in and through your life. Unusual boldness and courage will be stirred up on the inside of you. You will be strong on the inside and you will do exploits on the outside. You will function at God's frequency. People are going to be amazed and wonder where you get your strength from. In the Living Bible, Psalm 60:12 declares that “with God's help we shall do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes.” You will do mighty things this year. Nothing will be able to stop you from being and doing all that God has planned for you to do and be this year.
PRAYER FOCUS: Pray in the Spirit right now and stir up the strength and might of God on the inside of you.
