Empowered for Victory in All Your Battles

Psalm 18:31-35 (NKJV)
For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.

Some days ago, we studied about how God's direction works hand in hand with His blessings. Our studies have also revealed that the blessings of the Lord not only render you rich financially, but also cause you to experience the manifestation of God's blessings, grace, power and glory in every area of your life. Declare to yourself right now that the blessing of the Lord is making you victorious in every battle you will face this year. Say to yourself that because you are blessed, God will direct you and teach you how to be victorious in every battle you will face this year.

Do not be deceived into believing that because you are blessed, you will not have trials and challenges. There will actually be some battles you will face simply because you are chosen and blessed by God. When it was time to enter the Promised Land and take possession of it, the children of Israel had to fight battles to claim what God had given to them. This is why God appeared to Joshua as a soldier with a sword in his hand, ready to fight in Joshua 5:13-15. This is why on three different occasions in Joshua 1:6, 7 and 9, God told Joshua to be strong and of good courage.

This year, you are strong and courageous and by the blessing and direction of God, you will be victorious in every battle you will face. Bows of steel will be broken by your bare hands (Psa.18:34, KJV) because the strength and might of God will be abundant in your life.

PRAYER:
I thank you, Dear Lord, for Your mighty wisdom and strength that is causing me to be victorious in all my battles this year.
