*Spend Quality Time with Jesus*
*Mark 3:14-15 (KJV & AMP), Mark 6:31 (LB)*

And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils * And He appointed twelve to continue to be with Him, and that He might send them out to preach. [as apostles or special messengers] And to have authority and power to heal the sick and to drive out demons* “Then Jesus suggested, let's get way from the crowds for a while an rest.
If you want to really know a person, you must be ready to spend quality time with the person. To spend quality time with someone, you must love being around that person. When Jesus was on the earth, despite His very busy schedule He spent quality time with God very often. Luke 5:15-16 (NlV) says, yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Sometimes He continued all night In prayer to God, Luke 6:12.
As He was doing this, He was growing in intimacy with God the Father and He was receiving abundant grace and wisdom and making intercessions concerning His assignment on earth. When you learn how to spend quality time with Jesus in good times, you will be able to still spend quality time with Him In your trying times. Jesus was so used to spending time with God that the pressure of His great suffering and death on the cross did not stop Him from praying and communing with God. You must be deliberate about spending quality time with Jesus. Start from somewhere and keep doing it. You will grow at it. Depend on the help of the Holy Spirit. Learn to be still and quiet before God. Study your Bible, pray, worship, give thanks, intercede for others, listen to God Write down as He reveals His word and directions to you. Make use of helpful scriptural study materials and guides like this devotional. Despite the time you spend with God, you must also endeavor to stay in sweet fellowship with Him throughout the day.
*Prayer:*
I receive the empowerment of your Spirit Dear Lord. To grow in spending quality time with you every day.
