Do not get tired of the present century, but be transformed by the renewal of your intelligence, so that you may know what is the will of God, which is good, pleasant and perfect (Romans 12:2).
There is a difference between your thinking process and your mindset. What is the mindset? It's a usual or specific mental attitude that determines how you interpret and respond to situations.
Each of us has a state of mind (a mindset), but what is important is the origin of your state of mind. The Word of God must build and shape your mental attitude and your disposal to life; otherwise, you are drown. The study and meditation of the word of God will give you a particular state of mind; the mindset of the righteous.
Having the right is not a gift; it develops. You can't pray and say, "I get a state of mind"; no, it doesn't work like that. You have to flood and soak up the word, study it and meditate every day. Then you will see that your thinking process has changed; your mental attitude and mental appreciation of things have improved.
As you thought defeat, poverty, disease, etc., you will discover that you have abandoned these negative thoughts and received divine thoughts of love, victory, faith, domination, health and strength. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I am grateful because by your word, I have developed the state of mind of the righteous. I interpret the circumstances and situations according to the perspective of your word. By the meditation of the word, my intelligence is programmed and influenced to reason, react and interpret situations in an excellent way and with extreme precision in the name of Jesus. Amen.
