*Release Yourself Into God's Hands 2*
_Acts 9:15-16, Isaiah 60:3, Romans 8:18_
_But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
*And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. *For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us._
Another reason why many believers do not want to give their all to their fellowship, service and commitment to God is because of the challenges and sufferings that we sometimes face as believers. Yes, there will be persecution, trials and tribulations but in addition to what our 3rd text above says, we must always remember 2Corinthians 4:17 which assures us that “… our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” Many times, you may feel the same way that Jesus felt in the Garden of Gethsemane, but if you will release yourself into God's Hands and keep doing His will no matter what it may cost you, you will experience the greater and unimaginable glory that God has planned ahead for you.
Continue to humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and He will surely exalt you in due time, 1Pet.5:6. No matter how bad your past in God may have been, if you will release yourself to God now, He will raise you up and use you for mighty and glorious things. Peter denied Jesus 3 times but God later used him to preach and save 3000 souls at once (Acts 2:14 & 41) and it didn't end there. Keep coming boldly to God's throne of grace to obtain mercy and find His grace to help in your time of need, Heb.4:16. Like Joseph, when he was tempted by Potiphar's wife, make up your mind to flee everything that is out to hinder you from becoming all that God has destined and prepared for you in Christ. Very influential people, who many not even know God, will come to the brightness of your rising.
PRAYER:
I receive Your grace, dear Lord, to continue yielding myself to You, no matter the challenges and difficulties that I may face.
