*Faith for the Supernatural*
_John 14:10-12 (NIV)_
_Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? … I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.__Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? … I do not speak on my own authority. God has called us to live a supernatural life. The life that we have is not ordinary. We are different from the people of this world and as such, we are empowered to have different results and testimonies from the people of this world. The life that we have is just like the life that Jesus has. That means that we can relate with God like He does and we can do what He can do. We are empowered to experience life just like Him. Throughout His time on earth, Jesus was very conscious of the kind of life that He had and it made Him live a supernatural life. Now, He wants you to have this same consciousness so that you can do the works that He did and even greater works.
This is the reason why Apostle Paul prayed the kind of prayers he did in Ephesians 1:16-21. We must also keep praying such prayers for ourselves. I believe it is this consciousness (of the life and power of Christ in Him) that made Apostle Paul unperturbed when a poisonous snake bit his hand. Instead of the snake to shake him, he shook the snake off and into the fire, Acts 28:3-5. It's not the limited life of Adam that you and I have; it is the unlimited life of Christ that we now have. You are empowered to rule, reign and have dominion in life just like Jesus, Rom.5:17. Because of Adam, we fell short of God's glory (true nature), but Jesus has now raised us up into God's glory and level of life, Heb.2:10. We now live in the realm where the supernatural is our natural.
PRAYER FOCUS:
Rejoice in God for the supernatural life and power of Christ that you have in you right now. Declare that you reign in life!
