*Jesus is Your Passover!*

_1Corinthians 5:7 (NIV), Exodus 12:13 (NIV)_
_Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast — as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. *The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt._

God's saving power that is available to us in Christ is for all who will believe and for all situations. The Greek word used for salvation in Romans 1:16 is 'soteria' which means rescue, health, safety, deliverance and preservation from sin and all evil. In the same way the Passover lamb had to be slain and its blood sprinkled on the door posts in order for the Israelites to be delivered from Egypt, Jesus has also been slain and His blood has been shared for your victory in every situation. The blood of Jesus represents all Jesus did to purchase your redemption from sin, the devil and all evil. As all evil and the devil's bondage came upon mankind because of Adam's fall in the Garden of Eden, all of God's goodness, freedom, power and blessing comes upon us because of Christ's victory on the cross, Rom.5:17.

Jesus said,“..this is my blood, sealing the New Covenant. It is poured out to forgive the sins of multitudes,” Matt. 26:28 (LB). Your sins are forgiven and you are in a new covenant with God that is more glorious than the old one, 2Cor.3:9-10. After Jesus purged our sins, he 'sat down' on the right hand of God (Heb.1:3 & Heb.10:12) because your victory has been settled. Jesus entered once and for all into the holy place in heaven to obtain eternal redemption for us, Heb.9:12 (GNB). The blood of Jesus has already been sprinkled in heaven for you but it is still speaking for you, Heb.12:24 (NIV). Unlike the blood of Abel that was speaking judgment against Cain, the blood of Jesus is speaking justification, freedom, power, prosperity and blessing for you! Arise in faith and keep declaring the wonderful things that the blood of Jesus is speaking for you. Jesus is your Passover!

FAITH DECLARATION:
Jesus is my Passover! By the blood of Jesus, my sins are forgiven and I am free, blessed and victorious today.
