*Divine Restoration*
_2 Kings 6:5-7 (NlV), Joel 2:25a_
_As one of them was cutting down a tree, the iron axe head fell into the water.
"Oh, my lord," he cried out, "it was borrowed!" The man of God asked, "Where did it fall? " When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float. "Lift it out," he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it. *And l will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm._
In our first text above, the son of the prophet who cried out over the loss of his borrowed axe head did not exactly ask for it to be restored. However, Elisha knew what his desire was and as such, jumped into action to restore it. He may have never seen or heard of such a restoration before, but that day, he experienced it. I believe that there are things you might have lost in the past that out of frustration, you didn't even bother asking for God to restore, but God in His infinite love and mercy will bring about an unimaginable restoration into our lives. Between a stick from a tree and an iron axe head, which is supposed to sink and which is supposed to float? By God's miraculous power, the stick sank and the axe head floated. The restoration that you will experience will be clearly divine. Your God is a God of total and complete restoration.
The Bible says in Proverbs 6:30-31 that the thief will be made to restore sevenfold whatever he stole. I declare a sevenfold restoration of everything that you may have lost. It shall be perfect, multiplied and running over. It shall be evident that this restoration is from God Himself. Those dry bones will live again! Medical science and human logic may have said it is not possible but with God, all things are possible. Jeremiah 30:17a says, for l will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD. .. I am not only praying that you will experience divine restoration, I am praying that God will use you to restore others, Gal.6:1-2. Just like Elisha, you will manifest God's love and miraculous power unto others.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, by Your infinite mercies and Your miraculous power. I receive Your perfect and divine restoration into my life.
