*You Are God's Seed*
_Matthew 13:24-25, 37-39 (NKJV)_
_The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.
*He answered them: He who sows the good see is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.__The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.
Something that is striking in our text above is the fact that the farmer who sowed the good seeds had confidence in his seeds. When his servants wanted to go and uproot the tares immediately, the farmer told them not to do so because they could mistakenly uproot the wheat also. The right time was going to come for the tares to be uprooted and burnt, while the wheat would be harvested into the barn, Matt. 13:26-30. In the time of harvest, the fruit of the wheat will differentiate them from the tares. Child of God, God also has confidence in you. That is why He has planted you in this world and in every environment you find yourself in. Even though not everybody around you in your school, office or business is a child of God, your productivity and fruitfulness will not be hindered or limited.
You are God's seed and you are a good and viable seed. You are different from those around you. You have all it takes to be fruitful and productive. Keep allowing God to nourish you by His word and Spirit (Psa. 1:2-3) and keep your faith and trust in God, Jer. 17:5-8. God is your source and it is He that has sent you to bear great fruit for Him. God wants you to succeed and He wants you to positively influence the lives of those around you. Jesus assured us that if we abide in Him, we will bear much fruit, John 15:1- 8. Yield yourself to God's leading and pruning. Be faithful so you can give a good account and testimony. Be patient. You will continue to grow and you will continue to bear fruit. Your time of harvest and reward is coming.
