John 9:1-7 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
The way we view the challenges and negativity both around us and in the lives of others plays a large role in the extent to which we conduct exploits in those situations. The best way to view them is to view them as opportunities for us to manifest the glory of God. Beloved, never allow yourself to be deceived into thinking that God is the one responsible for that negative condition. In fact, avoid looking for who or what to blame for the situation. Thinking that way will serve to limit the extent to which you to do exploits.
After Jesus healed the woman that had been bound and bent over for eighteen years, He made it clear that it was the devil that had bound her, Luke 13:10-16. Verse 13 evidences the fact that immediately she was healed, she glorified God. Only good and perfect gifts come from God (James 1:17) and you are God’s channel through which He wants to manifest His goodness and perfection in the lives of others and in the conditions around you.
In John 5:19, Jesus said that it is what He sees the Father doing that He does. What do you see that will bring glory to God in that situation? That is what God has empowered you to do in Christ. If you tend to focus more on what the devil is doing, as opposed to what God is doing, you will not be able to undertake exploits like Jesus did. Avoid seeing and hearing with your physical eyes and ears alone. Instead, seek to see with your eyes of faith and hear what God is saying about that situation. Speak and move by faith to manifest God’s power and glory in that situation.
PRAYER FOCUS: Receive God’s grace to see challenges around you as opportunities for you to arise and manifest His power and glory.
