Anointing for Restoration      WEDNESDAY        JULY. 12
	Isaiah 61:1-3 (NIV) The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. How conscious are you of the special anointing of restoration that is upon your life because you are in Christ? Remain mindful of the fact that Christ is the Head and we are the Body. However, the anointing doesn’t simply remain on the Head; it flows down to the Body. The same anointing of restoration that is upon Jesus is also upon you. Just as God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power (Acts 10:38), He has similarly anointed you with the Holy Ghost and power. This means that you can go about doing good and healing all that are oppressed of the devil, just as Jesus did. By the anointing of God upon your life, you have the ability to bring joy, hope, real succor and comfort to anyone going through a negative situation. There is no person or situation that is too hopeless for God. There is no situation that is too horrific for God to bring His divine restoration into through you and me. No matter how much life and the devil have scorched the lives of people, even their ashes can be restored and the beauty of God elucidated in their lives. By faith, open your mouth and allow the Spirit of God to flow through you to manifest God’s restoration. Lay your hands over that person. Whether it happens instantly or it requires a process, God’s divine restoration will surely flow into that situation. Also, know that as you trust God, this anointing of restoration will also manifest in your life in every area where you need His touch, comfort and restoration. PRAYER FOCUS: Thank God for His anointing of restoration that is upon your life because of Christ. Declare that God is bringing about great restoration both in and through you.
