1Corinthians 10:13 (GNB), Isaiah 30:21Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out. *And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
One major key to your victory in times of temptation and trial is your ability to acknowledge by faith that God has already made a way out for you. You must consistently remember that nothing catches God unaware and that God loves you so much. He is a God of providence. He makes provision even before the need arises. This is why, instead of being anxious about anything, simply make your request known unto God with thanksgiving. His word promises that His peace will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Phil.4:6-7. Remain thankful at all times (1Thes.5:18) and in your trying times, remember to thank God for His promise to strengthen you and give you a way of escape. Worship and thank God that He is a way maker. In Isaiah 43:16 and 19 the Bible says, “thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; *behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Thank God for Jesus! Jesus is the Way, John 14:6. Because of Jesus, you have a way out of that situation. The Holy Spirit is comforting you. He is teaching you all things (1John 2:27) and guiding you into all truth (John 16:13). He is also strengthening you right now. Despite your difficulties and trials, open your heart to God for direction, Isa.30:20(GNB). Ask Him to guide you. He will grant you His wisdom liberally, James 1:5. You will never again be stranded in your life. You will know what to do. No matter what comes your way, you will remain strong and will keep doing great exploits.
PRAYER FOCUS: Rejoice by faith and thank God for the strength and the way He has provided for you to triumph through your trials.
